Ladies First Celebrity Golf Classic

What: The Fourth Annual Only All Female Celebrity Field Charity Golf Event!

When: October 24, 25, and 26, 2008

Where: Hyatt Grand Champions Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, CA.

Who:

• Women Celebrities invited from the worlds of sports, movies, television, music, business and politics.

Why:

• To benefit: the Women's Sports Foundation's GoGirlGo Initiative (GoGirlGo's Mission is to advance the lives of girls and women through sport and physical activity), the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Program, and the Palm Springs Boys & Girls Club's Smart Girls Program, AND
• Members of the winning foursome and runner-up foursome will also receive donations to their selected charities

Golf Format:
Celeb-Am (Day 1):

• 18-hole, scramble, shotgun start
• 18 foursomes composed of 2 celebrities and 2 amateurs

Celebrity Tournament (Day 2):

• 18-hole, scramble, shotgun start
• 9 foursomes of celebrities (separate "amateur-only" "networking round" of 9 foursomes)
• Members of the winning Celebrity Foursome and runner-up Celebrity Foursome earn donations to their favorite charities in their names
